This trip will give you the opportunity to travel to some of the most visited areas in beautiful Costa Rica a country diverse in its landscapes and its wildlife. You arrive in the Central Valley for a visit to the Poas Volcano National Park, then, a visit to La Paz Waterfall Gardens will show you Costa Rica’s flora and fauna and you’ll explore the canals of Tortuguero National Park. Located in the north caribbean slopes of Costa Rica, visit the land of the sugar cane in Costa Rica in Turrialba and explore the Pacuare River. To end the journey  you will visit Manuel Antonio to relax & get to know the the National Park.

DAY  1- SAN JOSE COSTA RICA - GRANO DE ORO HOTEL 

Meet and greet at Juan Santamaría International Airport. Transfer to Grano de Oro hotel where you’ll stay in a Junior Suite.

Here you’ll find an artistic victorian style hotel,  design property, set in an quite area of the capital.This luxury sustainable hotel has rooms that are decorated with exquisite taste.

DAY 2: COFFEE TOUR AND WATERFALL GARDENS.

Breakfast in the hotel. Day to visit the Coffee plantations, Poas Volcano and The Waterfall Gardens. The Coffee Plantation is located 4000 feet above sea level, on a temperate plateau, ideal for producing some of the world’s best coffee in the lush volcanic soil.

Learn how coffee was discovered and how it is traded and consumed today while strolling down the lanes of Doka estate organic sustainable coffee plantation. The guide will explain all about the different steps involved in planting and harvesting an organic coffee plantation, and you can even participate in the picking of coffee, during the harvest season, from October to January. The guide will also take you step by step through the whole procedure of coffee from clearing and drying the berries to final roasting and packing. After this unique experience visit the third largest crater in the world. Poas Volcano, finalize this wonderful trip with a visit to the Waterfall gardens, see monkeys, exotix birds, wild cats and 5 beautiful waterfalls on a hiking trail down the mountains.

DAY 3: SAN JOSE  TO TORTUGUERO,3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS

Between 06:00 a.m. and 06:30 a.m. Aprox. We will pick you up early in the morning at your Hotel in San Jose.
Admire the biodiversity of an astonishing protected area in Costa Rica as we drive by Braulio Carrillo National Park, a primary forest in 95% of its extension.
08:30 a.m Have a taste of our delicious Costa Rican breakfast in route.
Between 10:30 and 11.00 am Aprox. Board a comfortable boat upon arrival to the port and let this extraordinarily exotic paradise enchant you, as you travel along the Tortuguero Canals.
Have a one-in-a-lifetime experience in this unique place surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna of breathtaking beauty. Enjoy this amazing 3 days 2 nights itinerary & experience with you love ones the sounds of nature.

DAYS 4, 5  Tortuguero.

Discover the flavors of Costa Rica with breakfast at the Lodge.
After breakfats walking tour the Lodge's private trail to observe and sence the sounds and deep green of the forest, enjoy a delicious lunch at the Lodge after this wonderfull experience, Afternoon, we will visit the museum, the beach and the small and picturesque city of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge .
Optional tour in the evening: Evening walk to admire green turtles spawning (July to September)

DAYS 6, 7  TRANSFER TOURTUGUERO - TURRIALBA

After breakfast, shared boat transfer back to the pier, where the trip will continue by bus to your next destination. Lunch is included in La Ceiba Restaurant.

After lunch, continue your trip to the beautiful Turrialba Valley, either by private transfers or by driving yourself in an included rental car.

Situated 40 miles east of the city of San Jose, the beautiful Turrialba Valley is irrigated by the wild waters of the Reventazon River, which has turned these lands into a rich agricultural area over a hundred years ago. Rains throughout the year create a green collage of primary forests, biological corridors, reforested areas, and extensive plantations of coffee, macadamia and sugar cane, demonstrating a perfect balance between agricultural development and the conservation of the wealth of nature.

DAY 8 - TURRIALBA

PACUARE RIVER RAFTING:

The Pacuare River is ranked as one of the best five rivers in the world for white water rafting. This adventure begins near TresEquis town located one hour East of Turrialba. At arrival, guides will give an important safety talk to get rafters familiar with the necessary commands and safety instructions that will be needed on the river. After practicing all of the commands and drills, rafters will be ready to start the adventure. Shortly after, the excitement kicks up a notch as the first rapid approach. Halfway through the tour there is a stop at the camp located on a hillside with an awesome view to the Pacuare River and the surrounding mountains. Then after lunch, this rafting adventure continues down the river, challenging more rapids and discovering new surroundings. Optional tours available.

DAY 9,10,11 - TURRIALBA TO MANUEL ANTONIO

After breakfast, drive or transfer to MANUEL ANTONIO where you’ll spend three nights relaxing – one of the favourite destinations for LGBTIQ people. The beach extends for more than 2 miles and is surrounded by exuberant vegetation typical of the Pacific coast.  In the town of Manuel Antonio and next to the beach you can find some small restaurants that serve typical Costa Rican meals. Because this area is a fishermen community, seafood is the main ingredient in most of the dishes that are served in the restaurants of this region.

At Manuel Antonio National Park you can find some smaller beaches that are a fantastic destination, which gives a perfect idea of the incredible natural sceneries that you will find in this place.

DAY 12- TRANSFER BACK TO SAN JOSE AIRPORT

After breakfast you’ll take a private transfer to Juan Santamaría International airport for your onward journey. Please come back soon.
