We care about more than just creating great coffee, we also care about making the world a better place,  not only because our commitment to work with Costa Rican coffee growers that implement sustainable growing and harvesting practices that honor the planet and benefit the communities we work with, but also with those that care about inclusion and best practices that advocate for Human Rights .Our business model emphasizes the efficient use of tools that protect everyone from homophobia and transphobia by the implementation of  a certification process, preventing bulling and reducing the impact of discrimination, not only at the workplace but also to clients that support diversity.

From the very beginning, Pride Coffee has looked for ways to reduce its discrimination impact and increase benefits for our employees and their families. We’ve set up metrics that help us know how we’re doing towards achieving our goals through a process of certification in non-discrimination in the workplace that helps to protect employees and potential customers from any form of discrimination. We promote peace of mind living through non-discrimination initiatives and country-wide best practices among our partners by helping the LGBTI Chamber of Commerce of Costa Rica Scholarship programs. We are also committed to building up the communities where our business operates by promoting educational and cultural programs and enforcing a strict policy of equality for everyone not only about fair pay but also in human rights issues.

The scholarship program for entrepreneurs is an initiative that was born in Costa Rica in 2016 with the purpose of helping small LGBTI entrepreneurs to be more professional by offering them an opportunity to do business internationally. The scholarship program is part of the Supplier Diversity Chain Program promoted by the LGBTI Chamber of Commerce of Costa Rica. Each cup of coffee counts to help the LGBTI Business Owners to grow their business and achieve their dream. Each bag of coffee that you buy from Pride Coffee $ 1 USD is donated to support the LGBTI Community in Costa Rica and the Scholarship program that will help a LGBTI small business owner to grow their business.
